How Does IS4R Work

IS4R is a student driven fundraiser that requires minimal volunteerism.

What do Students need to do?

-Most importantly READ!READ!READ!
-Set hourly reading goals
-Obtain online sponsorship from families  and friends 
-Receive prizes 

What do the Volunteers need to do?

IN THE SPRING:
-Appoint a contact person
-Organize a school pep-rally launching the  IS4R program
-Decorate school
-Determine prizes for different levels
-Set a prize week for the fall
-Pass out materials

IN THE FALL:
-Announce winners
-Pass out prizes
-Organize pizza party for grade with highest   participation
-Create a wall of distinction for students  who have read 100 hours or more!
-Receive check from iscream4reading
